Kathryn TregidGa
Your Howick Senior Physiotherapist
Kathryn graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Physiotherapy in 2005 and has over 20 years of experience working with clients across a broad range of ages and needs. She holds a Careway contract with ACC and has completed additional training in dry needling, adding to her skill set in treating musculoskeletal and post-surgical conditions.
Kathryn has a particular interest in helping people stay strong and active throughout life. Her personal philosophy centres on the belief that strength is the foundation for independence and well-being – and that journey looks different for everyone. Whether supporting post-operative recovery, managing long-term injuries, or helping someone gain confidence in their body again, Kathryn brings a calm, honest, and personalised approach to her practice.
She enjoys working with clients of all ages, but has a special place for older adults, finding great joy in helping them maintain strength, mobility, and independence across the decades.
Outside of the clinic, Kathryn is passionate about lifting weights and staying strong herself, and you’ll often find her at Barry Curtis parkrun on a Saturday morning. As a busy mum of two teenagers, she understands the challenges of balancing health, family, and everyday life – and brings that empathy into the way she works with her clients
