Your Auckland Physiotherapist
Mark has always had a keen interest in the human body and how it recovers from injuries, especially with his very sporting background in Ireland. His interest in Physiotherapy peaked through the sporting injuries he experienced himself and from the quality of care and rehabilitation he received from his own Physiotherapist.
Mark likes to use up to date evidence based treatments to guide his practice and he enjoys helping clients to achieve their goals. He likes to use a blend of manual therapy and exercise prescription, and is a strong advocate of healthy lifestyle promotion and self management.
In his spare time, Mark is a sports enthusiast and has a great interest in all types of sports rehabilitation. He has experience working with numerous sports teams and organizations, from football to gymnastics and has previously been Physiotherapist for the Irish Senior Ladies Basketball team. He has also played Gaelic Football in Ireland to an elite level, which has exposed him to high level strength and conditioning training and athletic rehabilitation programmes.
